Strengthening end-to-end support for Japanese companies investing and operating in Bangladesh

ACCFAM Inc. (“ACCFAM”) is pleased to announce that it entered into an International Strategic Alliance and Cooperation Agreement with Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants (“HVC”), effective 1 January 2026.

The alliance combines ACCFAM’s Japan-focused cross-border expertise with HVC’s deep capabilities in audit, tax, accounting and management advisory in Bangladesh. Together, the firms will provide seamless support from market entry and incorporation through ongoing financial management, tax and audit compliance, internal control, investigations, M&A and restructuring.

About HVC: Scale, Depth and a Track Record Dating Back to 1962

With roots dating back to 1962, HVC is one of the leading and oldest professional services firms in Bangladesh. Operating from Dhaka and Chittagong, HVC brings together six partners and more than 280 professional staff and serves over 1,000 clients across banking and financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, power and energy, technology, consumer and industrial markets, development partners and NGOs, and other sectors.

In a market where many accounting practices operate with only one or two partners, HVC’s six-partner platform and team of more than 280 professionals demonstrate substantial institutional depth, execution capacity and continuity. The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission’s Panel of Auditors dated 16 February 2026 lists six Audit Engagement Partners for HVC, placing the firm among the upper tier of audit practices in Bangladesh in terms of partner depth.

International Experience: Former Deloitte Correspondent and Current Allinial Global Member

HVC previously served as Deloitte’s correspondent firm in Bangladesh, supporting engagements that required international coordination and professional quality standards. Today, HVC is a member of Allinial Global, an international association of independent accounting and advisory firms.

Allinial Global reports 272 member firms across 113 countries with aggregate revenue of USD 7.75 billion. HVC joined the association in June 2025, further enhancing its ability to coordinate cross-border services through a global community of independent professionals.
